I throughly enjoyed reading this memoir, I felt as if I were traveling along with the writer. His descriptions were so vivid with all the colors.I had a real sense of awe as I read along with his travels.I would recommend this memoir to anyone curious about the Indians of North and South America.
I learned a lot about the native Americans of the new USA. How could they be so gracious to people who took their land?
I gave this author and his book five stars because it's very interesting and eye opening. This is one book that would be a great addition to your library
My Life Among The Indians is a fascinating read. I’d never heard of George Catlin. ‘Fascinating man’ is putting it mildly. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about him and his talents.
Great depiction of a man out in the wilderness. Really got a feel for who George Catlin was because of the admiration showed him. Excellent read.
