I just received the revised edition (10/27/2018). There is not one photograph in this book. All images are illustrations. This is extremely disappointing to me. The older version has 1000 photographs. I may update this later, but so far I prefer the older version. I learn better from real photos.

Great book
Never hurts to learn more from a master baker. I like his way of thinking that anyone can bake and it is not a mysterious process. I bake a little more exacting than he does but I am going to try it his way.
I already had a copy which is also a first edition. I always try to keep two copies of my favorite cookbooks so I will have one to loan out. I would suggest this for anyone who uses their books a lot.
