This is my other stress relieving book I ordered and love this one also
what can I say about this book? It’s a coloring book, sure. Unfortunately not all adult coloring books are made the same. This book is nice for a few reasons. I like to color hard because I like vibrant colors. These pages hold up nicely. I specifically pressed hard to make the colors vibrant and looked on the back of the page. It did not look or feel like it would rip through! This pleased me since I use coloring as a stress reliever. The pages are not double sided which I love. I hate when my son or myself goes to color and he wants to rip/cut a page out to hang on his wall.At that point if it’s double sided you cannot color on the page on the back. Another bonus with this, if you use markers and if by chance it were to bleed through a little, it’s not a big deal at all because there is no picture on the back for it to ruin.The pictures themselves are good. Calming and while they do have a lot to do, don’t feel super overwhelming. I’ve used some pages that one “scene†or picture took up two entire pages. Sometimes it nice to just have a single page to focus on without it becoming stressful. Stressful you might ask? Trust me, coloring can be stressful if you feel overwhelmed or like you can’t imagine finishing the picture. The price is great. The book is thick and has plenty to color for the price. Some books are this price or more with fewer pages to color.Overall? I would buy this book for myself and for gifts. I was provided a copy of this book at no cost to myself - this is my voluntary review. Can’t wait to check out what else this seller may offer too.
I love to color and there are certain things I look for when looking for a new coloring book. I love the thicker, one-sides pages. You can color with crayons, pencils or markers and don’t have to worry about the other side of the page. There is also choices of simpler or more difficult pages. Some days I have time to delve into a large complicated page with much detail. Other days, I need something a little simpler and smaller to do. This also makes it great for a family activity too because you can choose your difficulty.This is my second coloring book from Dan Morris and definitely enjoy them

Hummingbirds ... and an ARCHAEOPTERYX?!? 😯Birds of all feathers ... even Jurassic feathers ... are found within Dan Morris' 55 luxe pages of bird doodles that range in complexity.Whichever medium you choose your world of color to be, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find each page to be its own ecosphere ... or perhaps it's more like Vegas ... because what happens on each page, stays on each page; the paper is so thick that there is no color transference.I truly recommend this artist's renderings to be a conduit for your flight of fancy as you color away your day's worry and stress.
I was given a free advance review copy. That being said it's likely I would have purchased it. The paper is thick enough that you can use marker without it bleeding through. There's a good number of pages. I like that there's a variety of highly detailed and less detailed pictures to choose from. All in all I find this coloring book delightful and highly recommend it.
I got this on sat and am half way through my first drawing, which was hard to pick cause their all so pretty. I cant wait to do them all. I started with pencils but a few that I would do with water color as anything less wouldnt do. If you love to distress and relax by coloring and/or a bird lover, I highly recommend this one. I have a high stress job and normally take hours to unwind. I started coloring and as I choose the colors to use and the picture came to life I was able to unwind faster.
The varied types of birds included was a refreshing surprise. The pictures are intricately detailed. Sharpened crayons, pastels, or pencils and fine lined markers or 0.38mm to 1.0mm tipped pens are needed to color in the pictures. The pages are not easily removed from the book, as there are no perforations. I do not suggest using water-based ink or paint, as the paper is easily saturated.
Great coloring book! I would expect to pay much more for this. There is a nice variety of bird species. The pages are single sided so they are good for markers which I prefer for the ease and boldness. I wish the pages were preferorated but I can think of nothing else I'd want from a coloring book!
